Does Great Mills Trading Post deliver the materials to the job site?  Yes, when you call 301-475-2939 for pricing, ask for delivery as well.

 

Does Great Mills Trading Post  accept any demolition materials?  Yes, Great Mills Trading Post accepts demolished asphalt , concrete and some backfill.  (Backfill may be subject to a dumping fee and concrete must be free of rebar)

 

Will you have equipment for loading purposes if I elect to pick up the materials?  Yes

 

What types of payment do you accept?  Checks, credit cards and cash.

What types of payment do you accept?  Cashier's checks, credit cards money orders and cash.

 

Can I pay and leave the items I won in the bid at the farm and make arrangements to pick them up later?  Yes but pick up should be arranged by the bidder with the Cochran Auction Officials within two weeks after the auction.  

 

Can I take the items and pay later?  Full payment is required on sale day.  No items leave the premises until full payment has been made.

 

Is there a buyers premium on all items auctioned? Yes, Rates are as follows: $0.00 to 5,000.00 -10% and 5,000.00 & up - $500.00 flat fee

 

How many auctioneers will be working?  Several auctioneers will be working at the same time so be prepared for the items of your interest. 

 

How do I register?  Registration for the auction begins November 17th at Flat Iron Farm.  J.G.Cochran will have a registration trailer on site. What types of construction/excavation projects does GMTP undertake?  GMTP provides General & Sub-contracting for Commercial, Industrial, Federal, State & Local Government and some residential projects.

 

Does GMTP have a accident prevention, safety & health plan?  Yes GMTP does have a accident prevention, safety & health plan.  Formal trainings/certifications are provided for all pertinent employees in the following: heavy equipment operations, rigging and lifting, defensive driving, first aid and confined space.
